Amazing 2nd book to the series! This one focuses on the 3 trials they have to face in the crucible before they can make it to Atlantis. There are secrets, trickery, magic and a lot of action! I can't wait for the 3rd book!!
I love reading a book that completely sucks you in so you feel like you're on a ride along with the story. This story, this series does that. I was gripped and captivated from the start. Book 2 was just as gripping and page turning as the first. I loved the twists and turns and how real the characters seem. I am super eager for book 3.
This was sooooo fun!!! I couldn't put it down. It’s very Pirates of the Caribbean!!!!! I think this book is bigger page turner than the first. More magic with mystery and adventure. My favorite character is Ryder and what she brings to the table. Val and her relationships are very interesting. This book leaves you yearning for the next!!!
The second books a bigger page turner than the first. More magic with mystery and adventure mixed all together. My favorite character is Ryder and the mystery of what she brings to the adventure. Val and her relationships are intriguing, will she get the old flame back, can they over come the past to a new future. This books leaves you hanging with the need to jump into the next book. Wonderful writing with great detail and character building.
Valeria and her crew have found the opening to the crucible passing only first of many tests to reach Atlantis. The journey through the crucible could take days, months, or even years to pass. Along the way the courage, bravery, and honesty of three people on the ship will be tested. If they pass the test they move on to the next test until they reach the gate to Atlantis, if not the entire crew is lost. The current King of Atlantis knows that the Emerald is on the way and isn't going to make things easy for the ship's passage, in fact he might add a trial or two for good measure.
This was such a fun read, I couldn't put it down. It had a very Pirates of the Caribbean feel that made it really easy for me to picture it all in my head!
Totally absorbing that it grips you straight away n holds you tight right upto the last page, wait in anticipation for bk3 in the series, which I def cant wait to read.
Good writing, making this a quick n easy page turner.
Loved #2 and couldn't put it down until I was done. Now I can't wait for #3.
